PRODUCT Name of the product- VOLT EV (Electric Vehicles) operate on lithium battery in place of a petrol/diesel tank. The internal combustion engine of a fuel-based car is replaced with an electric motor in electric vehicles.

Why EV?

​

Cheaper to run : Owners of an electric car have the advantage of much lower running costs . The electricity to charge an electric car works out around a third as much per kilometer as buying petrol for the same vehicle.

Cheaper to maintain : A battery electric vehicle has a lot less moving parts than a conventional petrol or diesel car . There is relatively little servicing and no expensive exhaust systems, radiators, starter motor and many other parts that aren’t needed in an electric car. Better for environment:

1.)Less pollution - Electric vehicles reduce harmful air pollution from exhaust emissions. An electric car has zero exhaust emissions.

2.) Renewable energy - we can reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We can recharge our electric cars from solar PV system during the day instead from the grid.

3.) ecofriendly materials -  Electric cars can be made up of recycled materials and the padding made out of bio-based materials. And the interior and bodywork are partly made out of green materials such as recycled water bottles, old car parts, plastic bags etc.

Health benefits: Better air quality will lead to less health problems and cost caused by air-pollution. Electric cars are also greater than petrol or diesel vehicles, which means less noise pollution.

Safety improvements: Electric cars tend to have a lower centre of gravity that make them less likely to roll over. Our energy security: Electric cars are easy to power from local and renewable energy sources, reducing our dependence on foreign oil. Then it may provide better employment benefits for Indians using locally produced electricity.

We will be offering the world in two different styles; sedan and SUV. The customizable options are available in panels ; Audio systems ; seats ; finishing such as – glossy , matte ; different colors such as black , brown , grey and many more . The volt is designed in such a way that it can be driven on different terrains without impact. We have included accident detection sensors which will enable the driver to follow safety measures. We have been planning on implementing automated driving mode for Indian roads, which is still in its testing phases. We are establishing charging points every 30 km to enable long-distance travel too. Our company sets up a home charging system for all the customers.

OPERATIONS AND LOGISTICS

 

Production Process

Generally the components Supplied by outside suppliers or bought together for assembly, usually by truck or railroad. The typical car is constructed from ground top the frame forms the base on which the body rest and from which all the subsequent assembly components follow. We make sure that there is good efficiency in the inventory management. We have a transparent tracking and visibility. Our process also involves paperless invented documentation. To satisfy, we maintain high robust customer service. We assured that it ends with proper reporting and analytics. Our warehouse management system is essentially a software application that aims at monitoring and controlling warehouse operations on day-to-day basis. It includes the process from being stored and finally reaching to the end customer as the final step of the supply chain process. Our vehicles are transported by large ships, railroad or truck. We deliver the car by taking all the measures. And we have put several norms to ensure that car buying experience is completely safe. These norms are based on guidelines from the central and state government.

Our Warehouse is spread over an area of 45000 sq. meters. It has the capacity to store 132000 spare parts. It has the facilities to train 675 people every day. The vehicle preparation center is spread over 5 floors and has the holding capacity of 17,100 vehicles. Every Spare part has a special tracking UIC and is assigned and compiled with Other parts for security purpose. Water harvesting and advanced ecofriendly systems are implemented to save on water, electricity and treat used water to support sustainability.
